They have many applications: humanoids, cobots, exoskeletons, medical and service robots as well as large-scale assembly lines – our drive technology helps you overcome limitations and keep everything under control. Making it all possible are robotic drives with market-leading torque density, utmost precision and optimal design freedom.

Servo kits, brakes and sensors

Our stator-rotor installation kits with optimally calibrated safety brakes and absolute encoders afford a high degree of design freedom and maximum performance for future-oriented solutions in the drive technology sector.

 

Servomotors

We developed our solid and hollow shaft servomotors on the basis of our proven servo kits and other components. They offer maximum overload capability coupled with maximum torque density in a compact design. They are available as direct drives or even with directly integrated gears.

 

SDB-40-100 servo inverter

Our servo inverters deliver highly dynamic drive solutions, based on 50 kHz PWM frequency, 100kHz regular frequency and 30kHz update frequency on the EtherCat bus. The SDB-40-100 affords excellent dynamic response and precision positioning, ensuring perfect control at all times for applications that demand the utmost in dynamic response.

 

Custom actuators

We design and manufacture highly efficient, customer-specific actuators on the basis of our market-leading products – tailor-made to your requirements and easy to integrate. You benefit from our many years of experience with design-in mechatronics and our extensive manufacturing know-how.

Technology and history

TQ’s RoboDrive technology has its origins in the developmental labs of the German Aerospace Center (Deutschen Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt, DLR), where the next generation of modern, collaborative robots was developed. Since then, TQ drive solutions have proven themselves everywhere in the world – and also in space – wherever high torque, maximum dynamic response, precision and robustness are required in the smallest possible size.
