TQ-PCC: Your secure path to the European market
The CE marking is a prerequisite for most electronic products in order to place them on the market in the European Economic Area (EEA). CE stands for Conformité Européenne and confirms that your product complies with the applicable EU directives and regulations, for example in the areas of EMC, radio equipment or machinery.
Without a valid CE marking, the affected product may neither be sold nor put into operation in the EU. Violations can lead to sales stoppages, recalls, and fines.
At the TQ-Product-Compliance-Center, we offer you comprehensive consulting and support on the path to CE conformity. Whether it’s identifying the relevant directives, testing services, or a draft EU Declaration of Conformity, we support you in bringing your product to market quickly and efficiently.
CE marking in 6 steps
Every product is unique and places individual demands on the compliance process. We make sure you always keep track and efficiently meet all regulatory requirements. To do this, we support you in the following six key steps:
Basis for the EU Declaration of Conformity: Accredited testing
The CE testing forms the technical basis for CE marking. In our accredited testing laboratory, we carry out the following relevant tests and document the results in standards-compliant technical documentation.
Electromagnetic compatibility / EMC testing

On this basis, together with you we prepare the EU Declaration of Conformity (EU DoC) – a written declaration that your product complies with all applicable EU requirements. Only then may the CE marking be affixed to the product.
EU Directives & Regulations for CE
To issue the EU Declaration of Conformity, your product must comply with all applicable EU directives and regulations. To provide clarity, TQ-PCC supports you in identifying and complying with all relevant requirements.

Would you like to market your product outside the EU as well?
TQ-PCC supports more than 200 country approvals and enables you to access international markets with comprehensive consulting, testing, and communication with the relevant authorities.
With the EU Declaration of Conformity, the manufacturer declares under its own responsibility that its product meets all relevant EU requirements. It is not a voluntary quality seal and not an official approval in the classic sense, but rather the visible confirmation of a completed conformity assessment procedure.
For this process, TQ-PCC offers CE marking consulting to bring your product to CE conformity quickly and cost-efficiently.
Depending on the product, EMC, radio, product safety, or environmental tests, as well as further evidence, may be required. Which tests are necessary in each individual case depends on the applicable directives, regulations, and standards. As part of our CE consulting, we analyze your individual requirements and define the required testing and conformity scope.
The costs to prepare for CE marking depend greatly on the product type, the applicable directives, and the required scope of testing. Fixed CE certification costs therefore cannot be stated reliably. The decisive factors for the final costs are:
After a brief product description, we will prepare a transparent, tailored quote for you.
The CE marking is primarily valid for the EEA as well as Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein. However, some third countries orient themselves toward CE requirements, making it a good starting point for international market access. If you are considering placing your product on the market worldwide as well, our experts for country approvals will be happy to assist you.
