Which products are suitable for EMC testing?
TQ-PCC conducts EMC testing for a wide range of products and industries, including IT and industrial electronics, medical technology, railway technology, shipping, household appliances, as well as radio and communication systems.
What information do we need to provide for EMC testing?
For the preparation, we need a brief description of your product as well as—if available—a test specification. On this basis, we will jointly define the appropriate scope of testing. We would be happy to discuss all open points—such as the selection of standards, scope of testing, operating modes, or open technical questions—together in order to align all requirements optimally.
How long does an EMC test take?
The duration depends on the scope of testing and the complexity of the product. As a guideline:
- Pre-compliance test: 2 hours to 2 days
- Full EMC testing (CE): 4–7 days
- With radio tests: possibly several additional days
For complex devices or multiple operating modes, the testing time may be extended accordingly.
How much does an EMC test cost?
The cost depends on the scope of the required standards, the type of product, and the expected testing time. Typically, pre-compliance tests start at EUR 600.00. Based on your project description, we would be happy to provide you with a transparent, tailored quote.
What happens if my product fails the EMC test?
If a test criterion is not met, you will receive:
- A detailed analysis of the failed measurements
- Support in finding a solution (e.g. circuit, device optimization, filtering, shielding, etc.)
- Repeat testing after adjustments
