Energy-efficient dual-core processors for IoT and industryThe QorIQ®-Layerscape LS1020A and LS1021A from NXP are low-power dual-core processors with two Arm® Cortex®-A7 cores. They combine high computing power with integrated security functions such as Secure Boot and TrustZone as well as versatile interfaces such as PCIe, SATA, USB 3.0, Ethernet and CAN. While the LS1020A also offers the QUICC engine for industrial protocols, the LS1021A adds an LCD controller to the platform.
