Realization of Human Machine Interfaces (HMI)
with computer on modules based on RZ/G2 with enhanced performance and graphics features
From a simple touch terminal to a proactive concierge
The demand for increasingly intelligent HMI solutions in building automation is growing. The electronics for HMI applications must, in addition to touch and graphic functions, fulfill a number of points. Find out what these are in our new case study.
In building automation, more and more often touch displays with integrated embedded computers can be found – from automated parking systems to elevators or home climate control. Most of the time, these devices are waiting to be used, but that is no longer enough: E.g. with full hands a pure touch operation is a problem, not to mention the increasing hygiene requirements.
In our free case study, you can find out what performance spectrum electronics must offer on the way to becoming a forward-looking concierge and how the Computer on Module with RZ/G2 processors can contribute to this.

Mainboard with TQMaRZG2x module
With the TQMaRZG2x module, TQ offers a secure basis for the next generation of HMI devices. At the heart of this is the RZ/G2 CPU from Renesas, which offers increased operational reliability through the consistent use of ECC (Error Correcting Code): All internal and external memory interfaces and the L1 and L2 caches are designed for this.
The computer on module is equipped with RZ/G2 variants from dual core (Arm Cortex-A57) to double quad core (Arm Cortex-A57 and -A53) and thus delivers the right performance for every application. With dimensions of 77 mm x 50 mm, the module is smaller than a credit card and, together with the carrier assembly, can fit behind a small display.
