TQ-Systems introduces the new Computer-on-Modules TQMxE40M and TQMa8MPxL which make artificial intelligence applications easy.
The COM Express® Mini Module TQMxE40M supports the new Intel Atom® x6000E processors of the 6th generation, with AI support of the Intel® OpenVINO™ Toolkit on Windows 10 and Linux for the rapid development of high-performance computer vision, the Intel® Deep Learning Development Toolkit and optimized OpenCV (Open Computer Vision) support. Pre-trained models and code examples are also available. This provides application fields such as face recognition, gesture recognition, mobile robots and optical tracking.
Artificial intelligence and machine learning are also becoming increasingly important in Arm-based CPUs. The TQMa8MPxL with the new i.MX 8M Plus supports with many features and an integrated NPU (Neural Processor Unit) with up to 2.3 TOPS and an IPU (Image Processor Unit) with 2x 187 MPix in the implementation of applications where artificial intelligence, machine learning/vision is to be applied. For graphically demanding applications a GPU and several graphic interfaces are available. Its versatility leaves nothing to be desired in order to realize future-oriented projects.
