In 2018, the TQ appearance at embedded world 2018 is characterized by the Industrial Internet of Things. Under the heading of "Edge Intelligence", the technology company will present demonstrations and products in the areas of monitoring, measuring technology, gateways, firewalls, automation, HMI and the newest TQ modules for embedded applications.

Thanks to the numerous interfaces integrated into the CPU, the TQMa6ULx(L) is particularly suited to simple control and HMI tasks. Another LGA version of the module provides an economical introduction that can be used especially for mobile and energy-saving applications.

The TQMa7x module, with its integrated security functions, can be used together with a camera in payment systems and access controls where security and data communication are important.

The high-end platform TQMa57xx, which uses the AM57xx processor family based on a Cortex A15 from Texas Instruments, is especially suited to real-time applications for complex controllers to implement fieldbus applications.

For the Intel Atom E3900 processor family "Apollo Lake-I," TQ is offering four different embedded modules and it supports the form factors of the SMARC 2.0, COM Express Mini and COM Express Compact. The TQMxE39C1 targets users who want to make use of the entire functional range of the processor in demanding environments – with an expanded temperature range and up to 8 GB of soldered DDR3L memory including ECC support.

The TQMx70EB COM Express Basic module addresses performance-hungry embedded applications in the areas of medicine, gaming, industrial automation, IoT microservers and virtualization. Equipped with 7th-generation Intel Core and Xeon processors (Kaby Lake-H) and long-term availability exceeding 10 years, it is particularly suitable for advanced products. Versions using the i7/i5/i3 Intel Core of the 7000E family and the Intel Xeon E3-1500 v6 are available.

Additionally, TQ is presenting several of its own carrier boards like the MB-COME6-2, which, together with the TQMx70EB, is suitable for applications in the medical field.

Power Architecture
The TQMT2081 mini module fits a high-performance computing unit based on the T2081 processor from NXP with eight virtual cores and 10-Gb Ethernet interfaces into a very small footprint.

Platforms
For the hardware support of IoT solutions, TQ is introducing a product range of Intel-based standard devices in the COMBox and MBox product series. These can represent numerous components such as data loggers, gateways, firewalls or even microservers for edge computing. With their modular design, they also serve as a base for customized solutions..

The MBox-R gateway hardware platform from TQ based on the Intel Atom is a standard product for rapid prototyping of small to medium-sized series quantities. It is also a basis for quickly implementing application-specific solutions

TQ will also be presenting ARM-based IoT solution platforms at embedded world 2018.
