The TQMa62LxxOA-S embedded module is based on Texas Instruments’ AM62Lxx processor family (Dual/Single Cortex-A53). The new solder-on TQMa62LxxOA-S is implemented in the compact OSM-S form factor (30 × 30 mm). The TQMa62LxxOA-S is ideally suited for applications such as basic HMIs, control and operator units, or home automation solutions.
This well-equipped CPU family is designed for low- to mid-range applications. With its broad range of interfaces – including 2× Gbit Ethernet switch, 3× CAN-FD, 2× USB 2.0, and a DSI display interface – the module covers a wide variety of use cases. Its very low power consumption of typically 1–2 W also enables use in handheld or battery-powered devices. Integrated security features such as Secure Boot complete the feature set of this well-rounded TI processor family.
