The AM64x processor family from Texas Instruments combines dual-core Cortex®-A53 for Linux, up to four Cortex®-R5F real-time MCUs and an isolated Cortex-M4F for safety applications. With TSN (Time-Sensitive Networking)-capable Gigabit Ethernet, PRU-ICSSG for fieldbus protocols such as EtherCAT and PROFINET as well as a wide range of industrial interfaces, it is ideal for automation, robotics and industrial networks.
