The AM243x family from Texas Instruments combines up to four Arm® Cortex®-R5F cores for deterministic real-time control with an isolatable Cortex®-M4F safety core. It offers extensive peripherals for industrial communication and numerous interfaces such as Gigabit Ethernet (TSN-capable), CAN FD and USB. With additional safety features, the CPUs are suitable for applications where maximum reliability and communication diversity are required.
