TQ-Group wins the „Wirtschaftspreis des Landkreises Starnberg 2025“

The TQ-Group has been named one of the winners of the prestigious 2025 Business Award of the Starnberg District. Under the motto “AI as a Driver of the Future – Artificial Intelligence in Practice,” the jury recognized the technology company for its outstanding integration of AI into core business processes.
The Business Award is presented annually by the Starnberg Economic and Tourism Development Agency together with the local business forum. Its aim is to acknowledge regional companies that contribute significantly to economic strength through innovative concepts and sustainable strategies. Evaluation criteria include strategic objectives, economic impact, employee involvement, resilience, and long-term viability.
Efficiency gains and employee relief through in-house AI solutions
TQ impressed the jury in the category AI Application & Automation with a holistic approach that enhances efficiency and quality without losing sight of the human element. The award-winning solutions include:
- Internal language model with chatbot: Makes internal knowledge easily and quickly accessible to employees.
- AI-supported production planning: Optimizes SMD manufacturing with reduced setup times and higher throughput.
- E-mobility service bot: Delivers support responses up to 70% faster while maintaining consistently high quality.
- Process automation with RPA: Automates recurring administrative tasks.
The jury highlighted TQ's strategic embedding of AI and the active involvement of employees — enabling the company to achieve clear economic benefits while strengthening resilience, sustainability, and future readiness. “We do not see AI as a replacement for people, but as a tool that reduces workload and accelerates processes. This award validates our commitment to using technology responsibly and in a practical, value-driven way,” says Rüdiger Stahl, Managing Director of TQ-Group.
Award ceremony at the Gauting Breitwand Cinema
The official award ceremony took place on November 28, 2025, at the Gauting Breitwand Cinema, where around 130 guests attended the event in a relaxed cinema atmosphere.
