TQ is an active member in numerous organizations, associations and networks. Here's an overview of our activities.

Industrial associations

AFCEA Bonn e.V.

AFCEA Bonn e.V. is a non-profit association and a leading platform for dialogue between the German Armed Forces, security agencies, public administration, academia, and industry. Its mission is to promote digitalization and IT expertise in the defense and security environment through knowledge exchange and joint events.

 

Association for Advancing Automation (A3)

A3 is an international association dedicated to robotics, machine vision, motion control, motors, automation technology, and industrial AI. It connects manufacturers, system integrators, and research institutions, fosters knowledge exchange, and supports the advancement of automated and intelligent production systems worldwide.

 

AZO – Anwendungszentrum GmbH Oberpfaffenhofen

AZO promotes innovation and business start-ups based on space technologies and infrastructures. It works together with science and industry to achieve this.

 

bavAIRia e.V.

bavAIRia e.V. brings together Bavaria’s key competencies in aerospace, defense, and civil aviation. The association connects companies, research institutions, and suppliers, promotes technological excellence, and strengthens the global competitiveness of Bavaria’s aerospace sector.

 

Cluster Mechatronik & Automation e. V.

The cluster is both a platform and a forum for defining and implementing measures that serve to advance mechatronics and related fields.

 

COGD Component Obsolescence Group Deutschland e.V.

TQ joined the COGD Component Obsolescence Group Deutschland e.V. to promote the exchange of experiences with other experts.

 

EEBus Initiative e. V.

EEBus develops uniform communication standards for the intelligent networking of household appliances and energy efficiency applications on the international level.

 

EtherCAT Technology Group

EtherCAT Technology Group is an association of leading automation suppliers and the users of this technology in various industries. The members work together to promote and advance EtherCAT technology.

 

FED - Fachverband für Design, Leiterplatten- und Baugruppenfertigung

FED partners with companies that develop and produce electronics, including the entire value-added process, from circuit and printed circuit design to finished electronic systems.

 

gwt - Gesellschaft für Wirtschafts - und Tourismusentwicklung im Landkreis Starnberg

GWT Starnberg is the point of contact for all economic and site-relevant issues in the district of Starnberg.

The Medical Technology Cluster is a network, spanning a number of business sectors, for strengthening the innovative capacity and international competitiveness of medical technology companies, their suppliers and relevant research and healthcare institutions.

Medtech Pharma is the largest healthcare network in Germany and Europe.

 

Open Source Automation Development Lab (OSADL)

OSADL aims to promote and coordinate the development of open source software in the automation industry.

 

PICMG

PICMG is a global standards organization for modular computing and embedded solutions. The consortium develops open architecture standards that ensure compatibility and interchangeability across a wide range of embedded and computer-on-module technologies.

 

Standardization Group for Embedded Technologies e.V. (SGET)

SGET focuses on the standardization of modern embedded form factors, ensuring vendor-independent, future-proof modules. Through defined specifications, SGET promotes high interoperability, long-term availability, and broad compatibility across embedded systems.

 

Stifterverband der Deutschen Wirtschaft

TQ supports the organization by participating in surveys on research and development in German companies.

 

ZIV Zweirad-Industrie-Verband e. V.

ZIV is the national lobby and service provider for the German and international bicycle industry. Its members are manufacturers and importers of bicycles, e-bikes, components and accessories.

 

ZVEI - Zentralverband Elektrotechnik- und Elektronikindustrie e.V.

The industry association ZVEI represents the interests of the high-tech electrical industry in Germany and internationally.

 

Funding and scholarships

Berufsakademie Glauchau - Praxispartnerschaft

As a partner of the University of Cooperative Education, TQ offers internships and thesis programs in the computer engineering program.

 

Familienpakt Bayern

The organization advocates for a healthy work-life balance.

 

Förderverein Realschule Herrsching e. V.

The organization regularly informs students about employment opportunities in the district of Starnberg.

 

Hochschule Dual

In collaboration with the University of Munich, TQ offers a degree in electrical engineering and information technology that includes an in-depth practical component.

 

Hochschule Kempten

The association supports and promotes the existence and expansion of the Kempten University of Applied Sciences both conceptually and materially.

 

Techniker Kooperationsverein München e. V.

The organization supports the Municipal Technicians School of Munich, particularly the school of electrical engineering.
