At TQ, each service unit is managed with a lifecycle record. FAQs on After-Sales Service

What after-sales services does TQ offer?

TQ offers repair services, conversion and upgrading, maintenance and calibration, long-term service for more than ten years, and aviation service in accordance with DIN EN 9110. This is complemented by structured root cause analysis, including microsection and X-ray analysis, as well as the initiation of corrective measures internally and externally.

What is a lifecycle record and why is it important?

A lifecycle record is the complete service documentation of an individual assembly or system throughout its entire operational lifetime. All repairs, modifications, analysis results, and corrective actions are recorded and can be accessed at any time. This is particularly important for regulated industries such as medical technology and aviation, where complete traceability of all interventions must be demonstrated to authorities and certification bodies.

How long does TQ offer after-sales service after the end of series production?

TQ offers long-term service for more than ten years after the end of series production. The exact service duration is agreed as part of the service contract.

What is the difference between microsection analysis and X-ray analysis?

Microsection analysis is a metallographic method in which a component or solder joint is physically sectioned and the cross-section is examined under a microscope. It provides detailed information about material structure, solder joint quality, and failure mechanisms. X-ray analysis, on the other hand, is non-destructive. It makes hidden structures such as BGA solder joints or internal component defects visible without damaging the component. TQ uses both methods depending on the failure cause and the specific analysis requirements.

Is TQ’s after-sales service certified for aviation products?

Yes. TQ offers aviation service in accordance with DIN EN 9110. This standard defines the requirements for quality management systems for maintenance organizations in aviation. It ensures that all services for aviation-grade electronic assemblies are documented, traceable, and verifiable in accordance with applicable standards.
