From assembly to complete system

We support you step by step: Depending on your requirements, we handle individual assembly stages or the entire process through to the ready-to-ship end device.

1. Assembly services

In assembly services, we assemble electronic modules from populated printed circuit boards, mechanical components, cables, and connectors. Additional process steps such as bonding, potting, silicone application, or initial adjustment and calibration work can be integrated directly into the process. This results in standalone units or pre-assembled modules that serve as the basis for further system assembly.

2. Device assembly & box building

Here, we integrate your assemblies into enclosures, frames, and complete device structures. As part of device assembly, all mechanical and electrical components are precisely combined into a functional device – including wiring and cable harnesses.

3. System integration & final assembly

In system integration, we bring together electronics, mechanics, and, if required, software to create a ready-to-ship complete system. Final functional tests, complete documentation, and customer-specific packaging ensure that the system can be delivered ready for use.

Control cabinet wiring and switchgear construction

An essential part of our assembly service is control cabinet construction. Here, we have many years of experience in the planning, assembly, and wiring of control cabinets. Together with our customers, we coordinate standards and requirements at an early stage to ensure safe, efficient, and application-specific implementation.

FAQs on Assembly Services & System Integration

What is meant by assembly services?

Assembly services refer to the process of combining individual components into a functional electronic or mechatronic unit. Depending on the product, this can range from simple subassemblies to complex systems.

What is the difference between assembly services and system integration?

Assembly services focus on assembling individual electronic units or modules. System integration goes a step further by combining assemblies, mechanical components, wiring, and other elements into a complete, fully functional system.

For which products is electronic assembly suitable?

Electronic assembly is suitable for a wide range of products, from individual terminal boxes and simple enclosure assemblies to complex high-tech control units and complete systems.

What are the benefits of having assemblies mounted externally?

You reduce internal coordination effort, bundle expertise, and lower interface risks. With a single reliable supplier like TQ, you benefit from a coordinated overall process through to the finished end device.

How does TQ ensure quality and traceability in system assembly?

Every system assembled at TQ goes through a documented quality process: incoming goods inspection, in-process visual inspections, end-of-line testing, and complete test documentation for each serial number. Traceability of every unit is ensured via production lot, serial number, and the components used – especially important for regulated industries such as medical technology and aviation.
