Das COM Express Mainboard (Carrier Board) MB-COME6-2 bildet in Verbindung mit einem Standard COM Express Modul ein sehr kompaktes Hardware-Kit, das dank seines modularen Aufbaus als eine frei skalierbare Embedded PC Plattform genutzt werden kann. Das PC System kann dadurch - bei einheitlichen Schnittstellen und mechanischen Abmessungen - einfach auf die Anforderungen der Applikation abgestimmt werden. Die zahlreichen Erweiterungsmöglichkeiten und einsetzbaren Speichermedien bieten ein Höchstmaß an Flexibilität und erlauben somit einfachen, schnellen und kostengünstigen Ausbau an Funktionalität und Leistungsfähigkeit.
Typische Einsatzgebiete sind Embedded Server Anwendungen, PC Systeme für die Automatisierung, Visualisierung und Überwachung sowie alle Anwendungen, die hohe Ansprüche an Qualität, Langlebigkeit und Langzeitverfügbarkeit haben.
