Cobot by Franka Emika is the collaborative robot for everyone: inexpensive and easy to set up. Companies can significantly reduce the costs for monotonous and tedious tasks while relieving employees for more demanding tasks. For a whole day, the students of the robotics club from Starnberg’s High School experienced the cobot's versatile skills and simple operation.

After an introduction to the components of the robot system, the students were able to create and try out the first programs. The app-based programming interface enabled the students to program tasks such as sorting and stacking components very quickly and independently.

Afterwards students, teachers as well as TQ employees discussed for which projects in the robotics club the robot would be suitable at school. In the future, TQ plans to equip various schools in the area with robots in order to introduce students to the technologies of the future at an early stage.
